![]() The results were surprisingly beautiful I made the mount specifically for my Snapmaker Original 3D Printer, but in this download I've also added several more versions of the blender part to hopefully allow some kind of mods for use with. I just didn't find a nice solution so thought I would post mine. added upgrades for easier compatibility with more printers I made this tool that holds 3 sharpies that color your filament before printing. Also I print them all with the small end down as this seems to be how the originals were made, and if you do it this way slicing the STLs yourself, I recommend a brim to help it stick. You can find the sharpie holder (the 3-sharpie version is pictured but a 6-sharpie version is also available) at Devin Montes' MyMiniFactory listing, as mentionsed as a source above^.Īgain I cannot stress enough that this is a simple remix, all credit for the blender system to Devin Montes:Īnd credit to the filament guide to Filboyt: Sharpie Color Blender // 3D Print Custom Colors and GradientsDesign by Website - Stl Link -. If you print the Open Support gcode, the support piece is under the horizontal part and can be easily popped out after printing. ![]() ![]() So this looked like a good way to do this and WOW. I did not edit the extrusion cap that you sit the piece in, but it is required for it to work so I added it to this listing too.Īll credit to the two original designers, such nice pieces, all I have done here is combined them in blender. 3D Print of Sharpie Marker Color Blender // 3D Print Custom Colors and Gradients ( 3 and 6 marker version ) I was able to get a cheap Snapmaker original that was only used for a handfull prints and wanted to test it out before getting a Snapmaker 2.0 F350. I wanted a nice way to mount the colour blender, and I already use the filament guide so thought I could easily mix the blender mount and the filament guide to make something functional and more aesthetic than some of the other Ender 3 solutions. ![]() Devin Montes' sharpie color blender mount: ![]()
